Songwriting Workshop and Recreational Vocation - SWARV |
SWARV is a powerful and inspiring songwriting workshop that is designed for everyone. Even those who don't think they have a creative bone in their body can write a song with Singer/Songwriter Emma Paki who has won major music awards including winner for Best Songwriter Of the Year in the NZ Music Awards. In her workshops you go through the process of invigorating your whole being into creative mode and awaken sonic revealings you thought belonged in the heavens only to realise you did it! You made it! You wrote a song and what a wonderful, life affirming feeling it is, one that lifts the wairua and alleviates the self esteem because your creative prowess will be bought out of you.
In the workshop we explore the craft/process/art of songwriting in a collaborative group setting. Through small group discussion, some one-on-one mentorship, and some co-writing sessions, Emma will focus on exercises, techniques, and habits for training the mind to be creatively treasure hunting. We offer a number of different music workshops, from half-day workshops, to three day workshops. Our prices are very competitive, with discounted prices for specific groups i.e. At Risk Youth. Workshops cost between $150 - $2,500 + depending on size of group, package deal and amount of time. Usual standard recording costs are included for songs written.
